Cinic News for March and April
Dr. Ed Kiesel of Camino Seco Pet Clinic in Tucson, AZ held clinic for SBPA in March. Thirty-five animals were sterilized, vaccinated and treated for various other maladies. These thirty-five will no longer be adding to the burden of animal overpopulation. A lot of future suffering has been alleviated.
Dr. Kiesel will return on April 21 and 22 to hold another Spay/Neuter Clinic. Dr. Garrel Geiger of Sierra Vista will also hold a clinic in April and hopefully perform follow-up at La Manga, where many puppies require veterinary attention.
SBPA is also looking forward to the return of Dr. Karter Neal of the Southern AZ Humane Society, along with a first-time volunteer vet, over the Memorial Day weekend.
Summer months - we never close. SBPA will offer our neuter/spay certificates, good for the services of our local Mexican vets. Email SBPA or call Gwen for information. In addition, if any volunteer vets care to brave our humidity, SBPA will hold clinic as usual in the DIF Building. Watch this space for schedules.

The SBPA Fundraising Committee says, "Thanks to all the people involved in the Chili Cook-off. The great cooks were fantastic, the judges were wonderful, the volunteers were beyond belief with their hard work, the band was beautiful, and the community's support is heart warming. Also, the Art League always adds more interest to this event. We hope that everyone had a great time. The funds will be used for endeavors and related programs of the SBPA de San Carlos, A.C."
Thanks to Viva San Carlos for the great photos - please see lots more on the Viva San Carlos website (search on "chili cookoff").
